Coping with humiliations simply for being Jewish through slurs from passersby, the loss of the family business under the guise of the law. Rapid maturity during a time that was, to say the least, not simple. The story of Eva, of blessed memory, is the most incredible way for children and teenagers to experience the Holocaust in a way that allows them to grasp the magnitude of the tragedy without exposing them to the horrific sights.
