Spring has arrived - saying goodbye to diapers

Spring has arrived?! And with it, the diaper-weaning holiday...

Is your child ready?

☑️ Independent, able to pull down pants and underwear

☑️ Asking to remove the diaper

Are you ready?

☑️ Bought new underwear (lots of it)

☑️ Removed rugs

☑️ Covered the living room sofa with a protective sheet

☑️ Cleared the laundry basket for the new loads

☑️ Made time to be present

☑️ Took a deep breath and filled your patience bag to the brim...

☑️ Explained and prepared her for the process

☑️ A diaper-throwing ceremony can definitely help

☑️ Try to be in a place where the weaning process will be easy and convenient, near a bathroom. Fewer outings in the first days.

☑️ Take her to the bathroom at first until you see that she asks and manages to get there on time.

☑️ Encourage and praise every success.
