Disagreements?

How do you live with political disagreements in a relationship, at home, in the family?

From the understanding that, at the core, we were born different. We chose our connection out of love, friendship, and mutual respect. Disagreements between partners are a routine matter. Disagreements about financial issues, household management, raising children, and many other topics, including political disagreements.

Each of us brings their own colors into the relationship, and when all the colors are combined and blended together, they form a big heart that embraces the home and family.

So, we accept that in one home live people who are different but equal. There are disagreements where we need to find balance and a middle ground to present a unified front to the children. At the same time, regarding politics, the children learn to ask questions, to listen, to understand that there are many opinions, that it’s okay to express them, and it’s okay for others not to accept them. We want to raise them to form their own opinions based on research, understanding, choice, and responsibility—not to blindly follow our opinions. We are raising the next generation, who very soon will also have the right to vote.

Let them choose what matters to them, let them go to the polls and express their opinions. We’ve already made our choice. Hand in hand, each according to their own views, and we continued together to manage the rest of the day’s matters... because it’s possible this way too.
