Parenting is too...


A relationship that begins as light and sparkling is fun and amazing. Falling in love is exciting, and later comes the discovery of the deeper, more complex sides. As the relationship develops, the picture becomes clearer. Sometimes we immediately love what we see, and sometimes less so.


Most of the time, the heart wins. Not always!


When we choose to continue the relationship, formalize it, and start a family, the relationship changes its form and face. It is challenged. It faces the love of a parent for their child. It faces the demands of parenting that pull us into it. And sometimes, unfortunately, it is forgotten. Not every relationship starts this way—sparkling and light. Some begin with a different kind of connection, and the heart? The heart has its own rules and its own pace...


Within all the shared parenting, don’t forget the relationship. Hug, kiss, laugh, talk, remember where you came from, decide where you’re going. And every time a challenge arises, decide to face it together and grow from the challenges, because every challenge you successfully overcome will strengthen you, strengthen the foundation of your home, and give you immense strength to keep going.
