From today, no more ignoring

I told my mom that Jonathan hit me. She told me to ignore it. I told the teacher that Dalit was bothering me, and she told me to ignore it. When you tell me to ignore, I feel like you’re ignoring me. You’re essentially asking me to erase my feelings, my thoughts. I can’t really do that. Erase them... So I push them inside and try hard to ignore them. And then something happens again, and once more, all the feelings and emotions are pushed away. But the container into which I push all these incidents that I’m ignoring—and you are too—that container fills up and fills up until it can no longer hold, and the muscle of ignoring collapses under the weight, and then comes that moment.

That causes the container to overflow, and all the emotions, feelings, and frustrations spill out and erupt, and I can no longer control it. I feel like I’m getting lost...
So, Mom, Dad, and dear teachers, instead of asking me to ignore, teach me how to deal with each situation separately, with every thought, emotion, and feeling, so I can keep the container empty, leaving room for happiness and joy. So I can understand what to do in the next situation, so I can allow myself to feel all the emotions, and learn from each case how to respond appropriately and correctly. When my container is empty, I can choose what to ignore because it’s not important enough and what is truly important.
Teach me how and what can be done—only this way will I develop self-confidence and a strong self-image. This way, I will build healthy social connections, succeed greatly, and grow.
From today, no more ignoring and no more disappearing. Feel and face it.
