I'm bored...

A week has already passed since the beginning of the summer vacation... Although most young children are in summer camps, there is a sense of freedom in the air. The framework is no longer exactly a framework... much less strict and much more permissive... the children are in the experience of "I can do anything during the summer vacation," and yet... in many families, we hear the phrase "I'm bored!" So stop for a moment... just before you put on the entertainer's costume or turn into the entertainment team, or just before you choose to be cynical and joke, "So dance..." "The amusement park is on its way..." Understand what it means... "Boredom means a feeling of emptiness and frustration stemming from inactivity and lack of interest," and yes, sometimes even in front of a screen, one can lose interest... When a child says, "I'm bored," they are expressing dissatisfaction with the current situation. Young children sometimes struggle to be creative, and in the absence of stimuli, they turn to their parents for help.
Young children need us to engage them and shape their environment for them. As they grow older, we can intervene less and trust them to know how to occupy themselves, but this is, of course, a gradual process. Young children need an environment tailored to their young age – and this means there will be a lot of social presence and adult guidance, a variety of play options, physical activity, and diverse engagement. Creativity, movement, and the like.
At the same time, young children have a great advantage – with a little creativity, we can "sell" them interest and enthusiasm for almost any activity.
Be creative.
